Hi,
My name is Naveen Cabral but am popularly known as Alwyn among friends, relatives and the music industry. I have decided to put up this blog to feature my work and the works of others who have been working with me in improving their musical skills.
About myself, I have been doing private lessons since 1998. I have trained for Trinity, ABRSM and Rockschool exams. I have worked for 14 years in reputed schools like The American School Of Bombay and Oberoi International School wherin I have worked as the Head Of The Arts And Music Department as well as the Performance Co-ordinator. From my most recent experience at Oberoi International School, my star highlights would be The Festival Of Choirs that I initiated to involve different schools coming together to sing on a common platform and the Musicals I directed namely Dig It, Pirates - The Musical and Compose Yourself. Instruments I teach privately are guitars, keyboards, piano, ukulele, vocals and Theory Of Music. I also am aa performe in my freetime and do private parties and host/compere other events as well.
I am available for consultation for music curriculums in schools and guidance and advice on the right hires and resources for schools.
